Restoring the original purpose of art: as self-expression, connection, and a field for presence and wholeness.

Music as nourishment. Art as a portal.
Terra Cultura is the cultural programme of Fondazione Terra Humana ETS, more than entertainment, a cultural service with genuine social purpose under the Italian Third Sector Code (D.Lgs. 117/2017).
Through ritual concerts in natural and historical spaces, musical productions, sound experiences, films and documentary content, we create spaces where people reconnect: with themselves, with each other, and with the living world.
In 2026 we partner with handpan pioneer Davide Friello and Hollywood composer Leo Z to create the album Handpiano Vol. II – The Topanga Album and a programme of Sacred Sessions across Italy.

The music video
Directed by Mauro Borrelli · Davide Friello & Leo Z · Terra Cultura 2026
Mauro Borrelli
Visual artist/illustrator
Mauro Borrelli’s video for Handpiano’s medley of Thomas Newman’s “Dead Already” and Hans Zimmer’s “Time” opens on a post-apocalyptic world, depleted and vacant: animals asleep in the ruins of a civilisation whose technology failed. Music wakes them, coming from a steampunk starship, a vessel of organic and analog technology that is more coherent with nature. Music is the message; Leo Z and Davide Friello are the messengers.
The animals follow the calling, alone, in packs and flocks, running, trotting, flying, and then suddenly a woman is standing among them, then another, and another. Zimmer’s theme, reinterpreted by Leo Z in a dreamlike, epic register, seems like it was naturally composed for Davide Friello’s handpan. Music becomes a bridge to a new world where the divine feminine tames the wild and gives birth to a healed humanity.
Every frame is a hand-drawn digital painting by Mauro Borrelli, animated over weeks of AI-rendering in what its makers openly describe as an experiment in pairing AI with the human hand, a method that lives out the film’s message. The inanimate serves the living and the film becomes a painting that sings.

What a Sacred Session is
Music was never meant to be consumed; it was meant to connect and heal. Throughout time, it was medicine long before it became a commodity. Sacred Sessions return to that ancient purpose.
A Sacred Session is an immersive, sensorial experience. The audience becomes an integral part of the performance, and the venue becomes a space where music is honored: a historic villa, a monastery, a stretch of woodland in Tuscany or a prehistoric structure in Sardinia.
The handpan, piano, gongs and singing bowls play and weave through the air, while candlelight paints the shadows of a dancer. Cushions and mats welcome peace. Silence intertwines with music to shape and heal the soul. Listeners are invited to feel through the composition they have become part of, in the fluid freedom of just being.
Sacred Sessions dates and locations will be announced in the newsletter.
