Numbers with Sources
Truthfulness is the core of our work. This page lists every number we use publicly together with its source — and, just as openly, what we deliberately do not claim because nobody has counted it yet.
SourceCerbiu: 28,600 m² (sworn appraisal / perizia asseverata, Dott. R. Murgia, site survey 14 Nov 2024) + Sa Medada: 18,725 m² (land registry / visura catastale, Foglio 17, Part. 226+227) = 47,325 m².
SourceSa Medada: restoration, registered seat of the foundation (Project Eden). Cerbiu: rehumanization, contributed by donation in the founding deed.

Why three different area figures?
Across this site you will meet 4.7 ha, 1.9 ha and 1.7 ha — all three are correct and mean different things: 4.7 ha is the total project land across our two sites. 1.9 ha of that is the Sa Medada site (home of Project Eden). 1.7 ha of that is registered as olive grove (uliveto) in the land registry.
What we deliberately do not claim
- A tree count for Sa Medada — the inventory is scheduled for 2026; until then we say "old olive trees", not "150".
- A species count — the botanical inventory is still open; subtropicals such as mango, avocado and cherimoya are being trialled, not declared established.
- CO₂ offset figures — we sell no climate certificates and offset no emissions.
- A "millennial" age for the Olivo di Sa Medada — its official classification is "over 200 years"; we will claim more only after a measurement.
